Undertake detailed assessments of a child or young person using information from a number of sources including parental interview, observation and questionnaire / formal assessment.
Use the information gained from assessment to formulate an individual clients difficulties and to communicate this with the child / young person and family.
To use the formulation to devise an individualised treatment plan based on Evidence Based Therapy, and to monitor the progress of this.
To offer evidence based treatment packages for a range of mental health problems.
To provide consultation to other professionals working with a young person, encouraging a psychological approach to their work.
